My least favourite accent is currently West Country, and my favourite is a tie between Irish and Scottish. Anyone else?

Spanish for me, soooo sexy.

I really don't like the Cardiff accent, particularly when coming out of Charlotte church's mouth confised

I can't stand scouse, midlands and broad yorkshire/lancashire.

I could listen to lovely welsh and irish ladies all day. Southern state USA ladies sound like telephone sex, (so I am told)

I love the Artlepool accent especially from a natural blonde who wants a kerry from merry street.

Have been accused of sounding SCOUSE on more than one occasion. .Once by some scousers . Wonder if this due to the influx of Irish Immigrants into the town in the late 19th early 20th Century? ?

The Apache accent gets on my nerves. "Him heap big no-good man. Sell brave men fire water."
Southern Irish accents can be lush, but not from Cork or Kerry unless the speaker is accompanied by a translator

Offshore has a point, I ve been accused of being a scouser when working away and his reasoning is correct. The influx of Irish navvies to build the docks and other heavy industry in Hartlepool Stockton and the boro were coming to what were basically Victorian new towns on greenfield sites, they were the population, mostly immigrants from Ireland and local accents combined to produce the local accent.
Go north and the accent changes dramatically, go south of the boro and they start speaking fluid woolyback.

What the fuck is an EU accent you stupid fucker? A mixture of 28 countries and all of the regional varieties, that would be a confusing listen. You are about as bright as a blackout.

Accents fascinate me, it's mad that can go a few miles and people talk completely differently, take a short drive past the Saxon and up the coast rode as an example 'marra!'

He does indeed. I've similarly thought the influence was down to the influx of Irish navvies and dockers.
