After wearing all of mine for the first time, they have washed lovely. No shrinkage or colour fade. I wore my 2 blue pair last night and the Bishops won again, they truly are lucky socks.
Still can't decide if the flowery pair are grey or lilac! Anybody else seen them and can help?
May have to go to TK Maxx and buy some more as I only have 6 pairs.

Stating the obvious here an all probably, but socks need wherever possible to be dried naturally on a washing line. Its cruelty to stick them on a radiator and burn the Bejasus out of them for a day.

So what happens in Winter?

I take mine out of the washing machine, give them a little tug and gently place them over a rack near to the radiator where they can dry naturally. Works for me.

It's Duchamp Friday. Should I wear my stripey ones or as its Friday my Flowery Lilac/Grey ones? I'm going to the Pub later so might wear the Flowery ones just to show them off to the Rough, Hard, Barstools that will be in attendance!

Duchamp lover and Proud! FACT

Mind you at £2.60 a pair you cant go wrong.

Cancel the Poolie bus to Bishop tomorrow. Been to TK Maxx today, seemed to have loads of Duchamps, but the Cunning Barstools had placed either William Hunt or Osprey of London behind. All in all only 3 sets left, 1 was not to my cup of tea! Pink with a flowery design, a plain pink pair with black toes/heels, and I can't remember the 3rd pair.

I did buy a very nice set though, a black pair with light blue, pink, yellow an white squares in a diagonal pattern, a light blue pair with navy heels and toes with a pink line around near the navy top. Finally a grey pair with light and dark blue, white and yellow horizontal stripes, and yellow heels and toes. £8.04 as I again had to buy a carrier bag (It was starting to rain)! All in all a happy camper!!!!! :greetings-clapyellow:

Wore my flowery Duchamps yesterday, only for a couple of hours when I popped into town. This morning when getting ready to pop to the shop I thought they would be okay to pop on for 20 mins. Weirdly the heel on one sock was rock hard and looked dirty (I did wonder if messers PIN or Monkeybutt had borrowed it for their "Hobby"!). The other sock looked pristine and smelled just like it did when it came out the washer! After investigation it would appear their is a hole in my old trainer!!!!! Bugger I'll have to buy a new pair tomorrow.
