You look at the table and think they could still catch us, specially if we don't win on Saturday. And then you look at that and think they're going to finish bottom. The contrast with the scenes from Barnet couldn't be starker - that must be a horrible dressing room to be in.

We may have a lot of arsehole fans but whenever we have been in the shit, things are never quite like that here. When you look at that game we were losing at home last year, then Walton got sent off and it looked like we were as good as gone but the crowd simply got even more behind them I seem to recall and then obviously we got the two goals.

I like a moan or two but fuck me what good is that kind of behaviour going to do?

To be fair, dagenhams ground is one of the few where you walk out from behind the end and so by walking past the fans if was the perfect opportunity to have a go. Dare I say it, pools fans did have a go on a number of occasions not with the same effect being that they didn't walk directly past us. If that makes sense.
