Hawkins is an ex-Pools Scholarship kid. I've seen him play in the Spenny' side on two separate lone periods with him playing mainly centre- mid not out wide where Pools have used him sometimes. He did well under Jason Ainsley at Spenny who seemed to get the best out of him & gave him some confidence. He's played a few more for Spenny than Chip suggests . Wiki is wrong Chip- but agreeing with Chip that Hawkins has something about him. He needs to step it up though -early 20s & only a dozen or so Pools appearances. Hopefully Higgy & Fleming can get the best out of him & build on the confidence that was coming together at Spenny.

I think I have been championing this lad for a while( check my posts), I like him and he offers more than what we have, hope this confidence pushes him on further, unless Wolves were watching and want him on trial for a week
