Tony Caig makes the subs bench!

Poolie legend Ellis Harrison is on the bench for Bristol, hope he gets a great reception by our fans if he comes on.

Does anyone really expect anything other than a defeat? Surely just another game where we are just making up the numbers.

Utter dross again. We are a soft touch most weeks for most teams. Too many poor individuals making individual mistakes.

Does Brad Walker actually want a career as a professional footballer? Yet he seems to be becoming Hignett's pet project. Hawkins must be gutted sitting watching Walker do f**k all for 90 minutes.

Another example of us following up a good performance with a pathetic collapse.

Happens too often

Cue the usual bullsh*t about looking for a reaction on Saturday at Barnet. Another place we usually get nothing.

But this is why we are where we are. Bad sides have rare good games, like Saturday. Be another 5 games before we put another one in. Relying on teams being shitter yet again

I think we can get something there. Statistically it's bound to happen at some point.

Do we have that bad a record at Barnet?

I think I've been three times and I think it's two wins and a draw.

If we have a shit record and that's mine I might have to go on Saturday!!

I'm someone who always tries to take positives out of a game.

Tonight I turned my digital radio off after 38 minutes so I've saved electricity at the same time as reducing my carbon footprint.

I'm not even listening to the second half, and my plans to go to Barnet at £23 are scrapped. I give up.

I'm watching Leicester instead. How fucking sad is that!!

Coming on here and wallowing in the misery when we play badly. Proves your endless negativity right and makes you feel clever. Piss easy to do when you support a club like Pools but reading you doing it makes me feel a mixture of disgust and pity.

Ok. You don't know me. You don't know my long term support. You don't know how long I've been a Poolie. You know nothing. However you feel superior due to blind loyalty. Congratulations. I bow to you.

Most things I've said are fairly accurate.

Don't let facts rule emotion.

Wave your scarf faster than me Good lad

And by the way, I'm certainly not blindly loyal. I think a bit of patience is sometimes needed to let things work but if you can point out where I've been blindly loyal I'd be very surprised. Just not stupidly, uniformly negative at all times.

As for the scarf waving remark - grow up.

No need to worry about substantiating it then. Just go for the double exclamation mark instead. Sadder and sadder.

I can't begin to imagine how some fans still see positives. Bad sides have good performances and good sides have bad performances. It's the nature of football.

We are a bad side and will continue to be until we go out and start spending some cash, wether that be better wages to attract players and/or good fees for proven players. The whole no negative outlook is just a smokescreen but it's been about 7/8 years since anything remotely positive has happened as a Hartlepool fan, and even then I'm hanging onto pretty mediocre performance overall.

It's the same when people come out with the 'least so and so lost' after another defeat that annoys me the most. Until we get out of the mindset of looking for other more shite teams in the league we are just going to accept how piss poor we are. It's just a matter of time when we can't find 2 worse teams than ourselves and we go down; might well be this season!

I can see signs of what hignett is trying to do but unfortunately performances like last night will always happen whilst we have what are cheap players. Anyways That's negative enough for now and let's somehow hope we can pick up 6 points in the next 2 games.
