The usual scaremongering from both sides really makes a mockery of the situation.

I will probably sit on the fence and vote to stay but then I wasn't listening to Bresslaw in the summer who said we needed to get rid of RM and look how that turned out

Well, I watched the advertisement for the stay in group, led by Cameron, and a few of his cronies, and I thought "cant stand this lot" so I wont be supporting you lot.

Then I saw the out lot, and thought "cant stand you lot either, but do I hate you lot more than the other lot?"

But then my mind was made up.

At the end of the out piece, there was another one telling us to get out of Europe.

It was a fat scruffy chavvy woman wearing jogging bottoms, probably smoking 60 tabs a day, from her benefits laden council house, saying "WE" need to get out of Europe.

The thought of being part of her "WE" was just too much to bear, so for that reason I am voting IN.

Bad move out campiagn. Dont let this sort have a say.

Here we go... can any EU related shite carry a little warning symbol.
It's all been decided anyway by big business, the bankers and the suits, it's just going through the motions time.

At the very least, people on here could do the decent thing and not mention it till the close season.

Not because 'this is a football board' but because the bloody vote isn't till the 23rd June!

There are plenty of things the EU says that we ignore, hence we end up in front of the European Court more than anyone else and we still ignore them like we did on not giving prisoners the vote. I think being 'told what to do' is more the government agreeing with the EU but recognising it won't be popular so passing the blame.

Have to say I think its disgusting that Ian Duncan Smith said staying in would make us more likely to be on the receiving end of a 'Paris style attack'. Not only is he using unsubstantiated claims to scaremonger but also trivialising the Paris attacks where some 130 people died.

You'd hope that by the time it comes round people would be in a position to make informed decisions but it'll just be another debate full of false claims and the EU is so complex anyway that experts don't fully understand it or the implications of leaving never mind the general population.

Prisoner voting has nothing to do with the EU; that came from the ECHR, an entirely different supra-national organisation, and we will remain a signature to the convention if we leave the EU.

For once I am firmly on the fence. I am trying to keep personalities out of it but I agree with many things that the EU have brought but dead against others. If pushed I am leaning slightly to being inside the tent pissing out.
