...has went from 2/1 to 1/1 to 4/6 and now all the way down to 1/10 in a very very short period of time

I'm expecting some very quick news on a new manager

To be fair in those kinds of markets it does not take much money for someone to shorten like that.

I remember I had backed Phil Brown and he ended up with odds like that - was counting my winnings when they announced John Hughes as manager.

5/6 on betvictor.

tbf £50 would probably cause a mrket like that to go 1/10

The statement about Moore going did say at the end that a further statement would follow. I only noticed it as if IOR were still here it would say the complete opposite. Could the replacement already been lined up?

An appointment that has Russ Green written all over it and would see his friends and family still in a job.

Not saying he's a bad call and I won't get behind him but still...

To be fair, any appointment will have Russ Green written all over it, he's the Chief Exec.

Suggesting whoever it was they were speaking to was someone well known to Russ.

My guess would be Collins. Id say there's a fair chance he will be picking the team Saturday.

Collins might be picking the team but I reckon Hignett will be in the dugout, Moose off Talksport who is Moores mate Tweeted the news before it was announced and that Hignett is replacing him.

Three wins at the start of the season were under Sam Collins as Ron was in Spain due to his daughters illness

One thing about this thread strikes me as interesting, I didn't realize Pools had such big windowsills down there

Only one in the League at York, the other he missed was Fleetwood in the League Cup I think.

Not Actually a bad thing. He's picked some decent teams when he's been caretaker before, didn't he give Baldwin n James there debuts?

I believe he was the Newport win but Collins was in charge too?

Moose from Talksport is everyone's "mate", the way he goes on...
