This time all the main North-East teams - and Darlo - get a mention (obviously without any praise), and the current plight of Pools hasn't gone unnoticed.Then there's Dad's Army, Ashes to Ashes, the merest hint that Ronnie is not as popular as he once was, and some glowing appraisals (but some without much glow at all) of Pools matches over the last few weeks.

For probably the first time in our 27 seasons, Rushall Olympic FC appears in our hallowed pages. Also pyjamas, Accrington Stanley (for reasons other than last month's match) and transfer deadline signings all come into the reckoning this month, while for a change Sepp Blatter is ignored completely - as he now is by FIFA!
