In fairness, any fooker would struggle to make this dross sound good.

His luck is finally deserting him. Hopefully in time for someone else to come in and do a Ronnie...

Jeff Stelling has just said "it's a good job the cavalry are arriving on Monday and I'm saying no more"
Hope he means a managerial change.

Not looking good, Yeovil and York picking up more points today. In desperate need of signings but our 'recruitment specialist' owners admitting failure before transfer window has closrd. Well at least we will all get free travel to our last away league game, don't suppose you could throw in free fancy dress hire as well.

Hopefully this result forces some sort of change. Eddie Kyle getting stuck into Moore on tees.

Nothing is ever ronnies fault. All we have done this transfer window so far is try to sign strikers. Yet again, it showed today how open and easy to play against we are as a 442. Magnay as the attacking central midfielder? Gray as the sitting? Is he sniffing glue or just a complete and utter moron!

Relegation is assured now.

Bottom clubs picking up hard earned points and we are playing with all the class of a warm fart follow through in a pair of beige underpants.

Root and branch pruning needed...no, dig the feckin roots out and start again. We can give a list of reasons why, but the evidence of our own eyes condemns them.

If the cavalry is a couple of loan signings then I'll be extremely worried about the clubs future. If we go down we wont come back.

That team was unrecognisable from last week apart from one glaring similarity, Bingham didn't look interested! In the first half we got some cracking balls into the box but there was no one there. If Bingham was gambling on crosses and making the wrong runs then at least he's trying but he is static. Ronnie won't make changes will at least 60th minute; he left it long enough after he took the nock to take Oates off

Ronnies comment of if we had a natural finisher we would of won that game. Scott Fenwick with a record of one in two while playing centre forward replaced by a guy who never looks like scoring.

The system Moore put out meant Gray would get far less opportunities to run from deep - one of our main attacking threats - and Featherstone would have far less time and space. It was essentially 4-4-2 with Gray playing slightly off a fairly useless Bingham. We looked better once Magnay and Paynter came on but Exeter had shut up shop.

Moore has to go IMHO. He won't, but he should.

This group of players is decent - credit has to be paid to him for that (I assume they were his recommendations) - but he's managing them really poorly.

couldn't agree more- the teams who are successful in this division are not those with the standout players, but those who look organised and have a sense of method to their game. moore is an absolute fraud, and no public displays of contempt for his players or bemoaning lack of transfer activity should detract from that. Get rid.

Too right!

Why didn't Thomas start?

Why was Woods - easily one of our best players taken off - and then a reshuffle pushing Gray backwards FFS!

There were times today when we looked OK - actually, better than OK - but, FFS, Ronnie!!!!!

Please, Mr Moore, go, take your betting slips, and eff off now....

Never known a team be so scared of shooting. I don't think our midfield of woods and Featherstone would struggle to get 4 goals in a season between them

We could get Lionel Messi for the rest of the season and we'd still coach the desire and skill out of him until he resembled Alan Power...

The opening 3 minutes was like most of the Cambridge game....then it all slowed down and we ended up trying to play like Exeter when they're better at it than we are. We should have been in their faces, getting their heads down and forcing the pace. Even under little pressure some of their passing was wayward, imagine how shite they'd have been with no time on the ball at all. It was a game that if we'd turned up to with a bit of grit and desire we'd have won. Instead it was flat and it's 3 points down the toilet. Everyone knows how Exeter play, why didn't we set up to counter that?

No good playing the high ball to Bingham. You might as well not play the bloke. Not his game at all. It shouldn't be in to feet with his back to goal either, he's not strong enough to hold it up. Personally I'd probably have started with Fenwick for this game to bully their centre halves and hold it up for Gray or the wingers.

Gutted really because it was a very winable game against a soft team.

Anyone else noticed that Woods just can not shoot?

I rate the lad and he gets in great positions but he absolutely can not finish. Even the goal he got against York was scuffed and took a massive deflection.

More an observation than a criticism though :)

Woods seems just to freeze or just lose it when hes in a position to shoot, that happened today, I also agree he does the graft and gets in position, could be a confidence thing?

We started brightly and got balls into the box but hadn't got anyone in there capable. Some of the balls would have been perfect for Fenwick or Paynter but even then Bingham didn't see to try get them. At the start of the season he was having loads of chances but them being saved, now he doesn't look bothered.

I don't see why it took so long to make changes as ever with Ronnie. Towards the end they had a break from a corner and our main goal threat was Gray who was last man back. As Eddie Kyle said on the radio before the game, what's more concerning than our inconsistent team is our inconsistent manager! He needs to wake up to the situation we are in and either learn to adapt or get out because we are slowly dying this season and he doesn't seem to see that

Since Paynter was injured there have only been two players who look as if they have a goal in them: Fenwick and Gray.
When Paynter and Magnay came on and Gray was pulled back into central midfield just who did Moore think was going to score? We might hope that Paynter would score, but pinning all your hopes on someone who's been out for weeks on end smacks of sheer desperation.

Jake Gray can do things that none of our other players can do, so surely you play to his strengths. And as Honest Poolie says to have Gray as the sole defender when we had a corner is just absurd. It wouldn't happen at any level.
