Anyone tweeted to ask him if IOR were right in that we have to spend the money this Window?

Presuming it is and we're paying a coach company instead of new signings.

That's a great gesture.

Do you think they pay for my diesel from Nottingham to the Orient and Barnet games? There'll be at least three of us going to both those games.

What TV money? We've had a great transfer window and now more fans will get to see all the new signings away from home too. Did he mention that it's a mega bus ticket?

He didn't say all fans, might be a limited offer on a first come first served basis, dependant on space in his Datsun.

I cant see how the club could offer free travel to everyone who wants it to every away game. Not just because of the cost, but primarily because they wont be able to get enough buses for some of the games.

Easter Monday at Orient for example you would probably get 1000 wanting to go if its free . Struggle to get 20 buses for that sort of journey.

Put me down for that one, Bristol Rovers, Crawley, Oxford, Barnet, please.

It's all most as if it's a knee jerk reaction to the hapless transfer dealings!

Unless you had to show a match ticket to board the bus

Yeah, I'm sure when the costs are figured out some criteria will be added to the offer. Or could be using cup money to buy a fleet of secondhand buses, am sure JPNG could sort out some drivers being experts in recruiting staff.

Coxall has form for this sort of thing.

When JPNG couldn't attract new recruits to the catering department he bought all his staff a Pot Noodle and a Wagon Wheel for lunch every day for a week.

In the end he wished he hadn't cos everyone ordered the Bombay Bad Boy which cost 25p more than the standard size. Poor lad thought they'd all go for the Chicken and Mushroom or Curry. Chow Mein at a push.

He'll never learn. Next he'll be getting the Bovrils in at Tuesday night matches for all supporters.

Yet again Gary Coxall predictably attempts to buy popularity by currying favour with a very small minority of the overall fanbase rather than put his hand deeper into his pocket and leave no stone unturned in order to introduce the two or three quality players that the club desperately needs in order to retain its FL place.

Sorry Mr Twitter but you are fast becoming a running joke with an increasing number of fans who are seriously questioning why you ever became involved with OUR club in the first place.

Gestures of goodwill from the club towards fans should always be welcomed I think. I shouldn't think that the owners are daft enough to think that free away travel for supporters will encourage all of them to buy a season ticket next year. Hope we win today and I hope we make some signings and give our younger players some opportunities in the first team.
