Not quite electrical engineering, but Virgin media have announced they are taking on 1,000 apprentices over the next few years. Its more digital tv, broadband and telco but there are lots of different paths to diverge from within the company.they are task masters but do look after apprentices and employees get lots of benefits like private health care etc. I wish him good luck.
