Dennis isn't even a Macclesfield player he's on loan from Stockport and they don't have a recall clause in the loan deal so that seems unlikely to happen in January. It would take Macclesfield to say 'yes have our top scorer' without them seeing any financial benefit.

If you are going to make stuff up at least do some research!

More chance of us signing Les Dennis and Marc Almond.

What do you seriously expect? The HUFC club IS akin to a nursing home as it desperately needs a reboot in order to recapture the enthusiasm of existing fans and attract support of new fans. What is required is the removal of Moore and Collins - and preferably Russ Green but that won't happen - they need to be replaced with younger men with fresh ideas that are required right across the board. The club is stale to the extreme and lacking in ambition, motivation, guile, call it what you will. The extremely fortunate FA Cup run is nothing more than a distraction from the task in hand - and yet another opportunity for RM to squander money on his next batch of misfits. Rant over.

If clough says we are signing them then it's nailed on, no further proof needed.

I'll look forward to them lining up alongside dimi Nelson n Micky Rae.

I think people have actually stopped posting because of shite like this, which is just noise really.

We have no ambition but the manager is squandering money? Make your mind up! Say anything as long as it's depressing and completely non constructive.

I think the next month is s big one for the club and massive for Moore's tenure as manager. We haven't been a team who is in the bottom eight of whatever division we are in for six to twelve months, we have been for pretty much 8 years apart from one or two seasons when we've threatened the top half but not made it.

I don't think without serious investment that can change overnight. I agree that things need to change on the football side of the club almost top to bottom but at the same time for the first time ever we are hearing that the club is on a sound financial footing and the manager has money available to strengthen the team. No mention of FFP or other excuses. I think by keeping us up Moore deserves a bit of time to improve his side, I also think the new owners at least deserve to be given a chance to see what happens.

We're being linked to players doing very well in the division below, I have no problem with that.

This is his opinion PJ and he is allowed it, as you are yours, I would imagine people don`t post because you put stuff like this on when they do!

Perhaps a new years resolution to wind your neck in might be in order :shhh:

And he has squandered money on the current tripe FACT.

I don't think his signings in the summer were 'tripe' one or two look poor like Kudos but I imagine he's on a one year deal on next to nothing.

Are Carson, Magnay and Paynter tripe? They'd get in most teams in this division. I think part of reason has been I don't think we've ever managed to have these three on the pitch at the same time. So what Chip is saying is valid and fair about a settled team and formation suggesting that he squandered all of his transfer budget is bobbins. I still think Bingham can be a good player for us he's not tripe. Young Oates has shown promise at times. He's also proven he can attract good quality loan players who aren't tripe in Tshbola, Hugill, Mirfin, Jackson, Gray and Naismith.

Maybe your New Years resolution should be to stop this weird obsession you have with my posts and maybe start adding stuff to a thread yourself?

Its a bit early for fans to start slagging the new owners off.
Give them a chance in this Transfer Window and if nothing happens then they will deserve all the shit they get.

Russ has said Ronnie will be getting some of the FA CUP tv n prize money(153k).
Hope he hasent forgot about the 45% gate receipts from the 4 games after Derby game roughly about 45k and the 70k sky money from the Orient game.

Its a canny little earner for the Hierarchy if they dont reinvest unbudgeted income back into the team.
We will see what January brings.
Obviously going to be a pivitol point in the clubs future!

I imagine people are losing interest with this board and pools due to the current state of play. The players don't seem to want to fight for the shirt, we have a chairman who seems to promise much, but has yet to really deliver. Moore seems more interested in slating the players rather than motivate.

As a result, I have a read of the board, but have stopped posting recently due to a general feeling of malaise and apathy towards the team. Only a bit of fight on the pitch and from the board with reignite my interest.

Whether others feel the same way is for them to say.

Correct Monkeyb - no-one is allowed an opinion that differs to that of the egotistical PJ Poolie - that is why this board is dying - FACT. Not that this bothers me in the slightest however, I will continue to post as I see fit until the death of this MB, notwithstanding the predictable static emanating from this terminal control freak.

Go and see the nice lady with the coloured sweets in the cup and you will feel better until your next medication!
Honestly, get some therapy, can you not see the amount of people who you piss off with your " my opinion is the only opinion"?
You are knowledgable and passionate about Pools but let it go with the putting chaps down when they vent, some deserve it like Cloughie and Sussex but the rest are just having their say on a forum, look up the meaning of forum please!!
I will have to start charging you for the advice if you don`t change :shifty:

Can't expect a board to be buzzing when we've had no matches and there is little other news because of the festivities. PJ always gives an opinion but he is usually open to argument so suggesting that he is delusional and psychotic is a bit extreme. I wouldn't have thought anything one poster says would put anybody off reading the board if there were lots of other opinions as well.

Time to stop sniping.Proper debate will get going again on Saturday and once transfer action commences, or doesn't.

True, but on the other hand, the best threads on here have never been about football at all. They've been about chairs and music and drunken evenings in Church Street and that.

Just talking to a NDT Tech at our place who sat with Grimsby top on about Magnay etc and mentioned id seen something linking us to Amond but that it was probably bullshit. He prays to god he is going nowhere and reckons can play at least League 1 level but said there was a few clubs sniffing around him.

Also said the huge Magnay flag they had done for £500 is sat about wasted!! :)

Well I suggest they sign Marcus Magna who plays centre back for the University of Pennsylvania and cross the y out.
