Although I am only 52 this is a very interesting thread.
But I don't remember any of those groups except the Teesside Fettlers. There were a few bands I used to watch in the Catcote, eg the Hafta Darks (or however they're spelt), but they don't seem to be included.

I remember when I was a kid listening outside the Hartbeats house when they were rehearsing, they lived a few doors away from me. John Hart now lives in the same village as me and we often pass each other in the street and chat about Pools as he is a big supporter as well, Small world and all that!
