Quickly becoming one of my favourite all time Pools players his reaction at the final whistle today was as passionate as us lot in the stands plus he is an absolutely quality keeper, at one point on the second half I'm sure he actually left his box physically shoved a couple of defenders to achieve a higher line.

Have to say I enjoyed his fist pumping when the ball hit there player in his face and took him out as well.

That was the best ball to face action I've seen at the Vic since Denis Behan laid out Joey Gudjohnsen twice in a matter of minutes with successive free kicks.

I agree. Loved when he words with Harrison mid match. Should be playing much higher up the league's but pleased he isn't.

His reaction to the ref who suggested he was time wasting was brilliant.

All we need now is another 10 outfield players with the same ability and passion!

Be interesting to see if he gets an international call up. Roy Carroll has made a few mistakes this season but he's 38 so maybe he'll keep his place for sentiment at the end of his career after playing for them so long. The other two keepers on there last squad were 31 and 33 but only 15 caps between them so you'd think his time is coming soon.

Last weeks match against Derby can't have done his chances any harm.

They might call him up for a friendly to take a look at him before they make any final decisions
