Jacqui is our contact with Supporters Direct and has been instrumental in the setting up of the HUFC Trust. She has been there in an advisory capacity thoughout. I've got to know her quite well over this time so and a more passionate person you could not hope to meet. Jacqui was the woman with me and Phil on the stage at the open meeting in the Clippy club.

She has been fighting cancer for some time but she has had recent tests that have proven that the tumours have become very aggressive. She now has between two and three months to live.

I've worked closely with her on the Supporters Trust and the lass is a diamond. The passion she shows and the effort she puts in is incredible. It's even more tragic that someone who devotes her life to fairness should be struck down in such a way.

When the time comes we'll have a turnout at the funeral and a wreath with the Trust logo but in the meantime shes off to New Zealand for a holiday to fulfill an ambition.

Awful news, came accross brilliantly on stage and will have no doubt help set up hundreds of trusts.

If collecting donations for a wreath etc count me in.

It puts everything into perspective. life sometimes just isn,t fair. I hope she has a great time on holiday.

Sad news indeed

Very sad to hear this she was amazing at the initial meeting. Life is cruel indeed.
