Spooky coincidence ..... me and the wife pulling up from work at dinner time outside our house..climbing out of the car as a jag drives past, slams on the anchors and reverses back up to us. Woman climbs out and walks towards us and asks if there's any room at the inn. We were momentarily puzzled till we realised it was the midwife who delivered all our kids.
I was shitting myself in case she was dropping another one off but wondering if she'd come to reclaim the ones we had.
Just so strange it happened on Xmas Eve.

The Mrs was in Tesco last night and a man in his 30's was in front buying his bits. He was buying value brand for everything, got halfway and asked how much it was. The lady told him and he said that he would leave the rest as that was all he had the money to pay for. No milk, no coffee etc. Not wanting to embarrass him she got her couple of things, followed him outside and quietly said to him. Can you do me a favour, can you go back and get the rest of your shopping and put £10 in his hand. The man at first refused but she insisted. He was so happy and that is one of the nicest things I have heard this year. I was so proud when she told me. It makes you realise how fortunate you are and we can all be down on our luck from time to time.

Christmas is all about family for me and more importantly, remembering the ones who are not with us anymore. Merry Christmas everyone.

Oh and Santa can we have 3 points tomorrow. You can do that for us surely

Tell her from me she's a star. You can't wrap up a feeling like helping those less fortunate and if that's not the true spirit of Christmas then I've no idea what is.
