I spoke to him in the Corner Flag prior to the game today. As you're all well aware, I asked him about him almost signing for Pools in the summer of 2014 under Colin Cooper. He said they spoke about it, shame nothing happened! He said he'd be happy to help our Pools in another capacity as opposed to playing. Nice to see him back and supporting the Club though!

I would have him in our midfield on Saturday in preference to any of the present incumbents. Or dive him a place on the coaching staff where he could teach some of our players how to play in midfield. What as amusing at the Salford game in the second half Ronnie was deep in conversation with the physio while Collins stood there silently like a spare prick at a wedding. The present players are showing no signs of improvement from any coaching they are getting during the week.

It apears our 'coaching', or what passes for coaching makes the players regress. They come in and hey presto.... within days they appear lethargic, uninterested and any talent or enthusiasm drained from them.
