Looks very likely that Carlisle will be playing at Queen Of The South temporarily....great! Dumfries in December!

I wouldn't say Dumfries in the summer isn't any better. Have been before and the first sight I saw was someone drop there bag of hypodermics and I don't think they had them for medical reasons.

They play on a plastic pitch which may be an issue but its hardly normal circumstances so I wouldn't be surprised if the rules were flexed to get there games on.

Would be gutted if I missed that one, trains would be too pricey at such short notice / over the Xmas period. sadx

Just had a look on the Carlisle message board and they seem to have there heads in the cloud over this one. They're complaining about playing at Preston saying they should be playing at Morecambe, there one after should be at Barrow I think it was an our game at St James' Park. Either that or call them all off. It's not like they are hoping for anything specific ...

You'd think they'd have better priorities but let them dream I suppose; we'll wake them up when Paynter makes a miraculous recovery, comes off the bench to score a hat-trick against them and we all live happily ever after

Great shout to play us at Newcastle though!

A day on the pop up there over Christmas, that would get a massive crowd by League Two standards you'd probably get a fair number of Geordies turning up as well if it's sensibly priced as the football on show will be no worse than they've watched all season!! Bring it on, great shout Carlisle fans out shortest trip for an away League since we won 3-0 at the White Elephant in one of the better drinking cities in the country clappp

Location: Somewhere in me head.
I think a game at Newcastle would be ideal for both clubs and a great days drinking too, easy train journey or by car or bus.
