What the fuck is going on. My phones memory is 5gb and I was at limit so been deleting apps and photos yet it drops to 4.2gb and then two minutes later says it back to being 5gb and full? I'm pretty much at bare minimum now but seems to just fill up seconds after I delete anything?

I know iPhones are shit etc

Get one with a bigger memory.

Or delete all your animal porn.

Take it to you local phone shop and get an android phone that lets you expand memory as required. Samsung Galaxy S5 allows this and I'm sure more other Android phones do.
Once you do this you'll never buy an overpriced Apple product again.

This sounds like there is an auto backup and restore going on, where that is set up I have no idea though.

Try looking in settings for iCloud configuration and also try logging into iCloud directly to see if can notice anything out of ordinary

Increase your icloud storage and look at what is going on in your backup settings.

If all else fails; back up photos and contacts then do a full factory reset.

Speak to the techy in O2 shop in town. They are usually pretty good even if you are not with O2

Who stores stuff on their phone these days anyway? iMusic, iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox.

All you need to keep on the phone are your apps. Most of which are just simplified webpages so save the bookmark as an icon instead.

Deleted another 5 apps and 50 photos and it's filled up again. So much so that now what's app can't receive messages as no space! No idea what's going on?

Downloaded something called iTunes onto laptop, plugged phone in and put a version of phone onto laptop. Then restored phone to factory settings and then restored all the data back onto phone and it's now got 2.5gb free.

Might go Samsung next time, what a carry on that was.
