Watched the highlights and if you watch the replay of the missed headed attempt at about 2:49 it looks like his head goes totally into a shadow of the ball as it comes across.
Were the floodlights low on that side of the field? Were there a few bright lights?
The ball coming out of the lights is difficult to time.

Did you feel for him?

No, but I do have concerns about you.

Bollocks I have played and everyone else on foggy furze the worst flood lite five a side in the country. If I who is shit and a dwarf can head a ball out of the lights a professional footy player should.

He's completely mistimed it.head movement has already happened before ball is there for him to head it, thus hitting back of his head.

Bingham has escaped a lot of criticism about his headed chance mind. Both really really bad

Binghams missed header was shocking and sums up his season, all effort but no finishing.

He changed the game when he came on but needs to add goals ASAP.
