Well at least we won but played of the park again. Thought the new lads played ok the lad from boro is as good as pools will ever get at this level. So good points today the lad from Boro enough said.

Is he really that good? For the last twenty minutes of that game cross after cross was won by opposition players resulting in about 5 near misses. I didn't see our central defenders win anything late on. Outside the box looks decent enough.

Having watched the 'highlights' and read the reviews, my euphoria at winning, leading to a review of my opinion that relegation is well on the cards, was misplaced. Pools had the luck of the Irish in the closing stages and non league Cheltenham's 15 goal attempts to Pools' four confirms that this team does not have the fire power to win enough games to stay out of trouble. I'll probably see you at Dover next season (provided Dover don't go up!).
