...that's the 3rd home game I've missed this season.|All losses, and I'm struggling to find a way to re-ignite my interest. The standard of football is appalling. This is probably the worst set up team I've seen in the 41 years I've been going, the midfield is undoubtedly the worst......and by some margin.
They can't even do the basics. Clueless from dead-balls, physically weak, unaggressive, dissinterested etc etc........ I could go on but like the team itself I can't be bothered.

You get used to not going very very quickly

My Saturday's now are completely different. It's amazing just how much time is taken up watching football. That with the lasting effects of watching dross can completely ruin a full weekend.

I may return sometime but for now it's not going to happen

Sad but true

You can only take so much shit then you have to question u sanity.
The 800 or so pay on the day fans have walked away and who can blame them.
Im even thinking shall i do the five minute walk to the ground v Orient or just watch it on the Box.

I understand fully. I am shocked at how poor our midfield is.....Featherstone is scarily negative Walker has lost his way Woods should be a game changer but is not and Carroll offers nothing Rhyss Kate's is exempt from all criticism. I am at a loss as to why Paynter is being vilified because without his goals we would be relegation certainties. We need 8 New first team regulars. Keep Carson Oates Paynter. Bingham may be an effective sub. The Moore rebuild has not worked so far.

Teacher to class: "What does your dad do at weekends?".

Little Boy: "He's a dancer in a gay bar and sometimes if the money's right he lets punters bang his arse and cum in his gob".

Teacher takes him outside, "Is that true?".

Little boy: "No miss, it's bollocks. He plays for Pools but I'm too embarrassed to say".

So if you're not going anymore, why so bothered..?
oh, ... and just how early in the season did you give up ...?
Football at this level has never been easy, but you seem to want it your way or you walk away.
I don't understand how you can ever comment on something you no longer attend, so how will you know when to 'return'..? When we win a few..?

I've missed most games this season after being someone who attended every game in the last five years or so. My heart just isn't in it anymore and I can't think of a reason to to back any time soon...

I don't feel remotely invested in the club anymore.

Snowy....

I'm bothered because I've been a Poolie for most of my life. Not going to games isn't really going to affect that.

I haven't been at all this season.

the idea that you can comment because you don't attend games is ridiculous

I don't know when I will return, it won't be this season as I don't have a ticket.

I understand football at this level mate, that's where we have been for most of the 40 odd years I've been going.

If you haven't been at all this season I suspect your problem isca bit more complex.
Most fans, even the cynics, turn out for the first few matches before they fall by the way, you appear to have given up pre season.
As for commenting when not attending matches, isn't that like a film critic passing comment without ever watching a film.
You say you understand football at this level... doesn't everybody on these boards ...?

My 'problem' is a bit more complex ???? Eh !!!

I gave up half way through last season to be perfectly honest

....and no, it's not like a film critic in any way, sharp or form!

I have been following pools for over 40 odd years so have seen some poor squads over the years. I always went to the match with expectation and excitement but you must all agree the buzz has gone for a lot of supporters. I live in Newcastle but travel down as often as I can but it is a bit of a drag when you go to the games and there is a total lack of passion and playing for the badge and understanding what pools is all about, that is what pisses me off
