Sue Barker, Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson were having a threesome behind the set. Tuffers was just bowling Barker a googly when somebody started filming and it went out on the monitors to the studio audience. The royal family were watching so the Queen had them all beheaded except for Barker who was required to give her phone number to Prince Phil.

That's my guess. Either that or it got worse and worse until it was shitter than Mastermind.

It got pretty embarrassing, I thought. Too much of the unfunny jokes and cringey camaraderie. Pity as it used to be good in the Bill Beaumont days.

Besides, it stopped having the mystery guest...the only bit I ever got right!

I never watch it, so like a lot of people on here with views on Pools I am perfectly placed to say it's been terrible, the management is hopeless the content if crap, it will never get better under this current producer and too many young inexperienced guests.
