Hoping for back to back wins after a good away win and new signings to stengthen team.

Barnet won't be any push over with Akinde and Gash up front. Both strikers have prolific records in the Conference.

It's about what Pools do that matters and I predict a 2 - 1 home win. Bingham 2.

I remember when we did beat them 6-1 a Craig Midgley hat trick of headers and Ricky Villa like goal from Paul Stephenson!

I seem to remember when they first came up from the conference in the 90's that it took us 4 or 5 years to get a win against them and Dougie Freeman scored one for them when they beat us at home in 94 i think. It was the first game I took my then girlfriend and now wife to at Pools.

I remember the 6-1 game well cos it was when we did pie and peas and I had just got mine, settled in at the town end when Steva scored early doors and the bloke in front of me jumped about and hit me tray covering me with pie and peas in my face. Loved them pie and peas.

They did the double over us in the last season we played them when we won promotion in 2007, Jason Puncheon scoring for them and I think he celebrated in front of Danny Wilson to have a go at him because he had apparently turned down the opportunity to sign him, or did he release him for MK Dons?? something like that. They also had a class player called Darren Currie once who scored against us.

This will be a difficult game and I think we'll need to score 2 or 3 to win it.

3-2 Pool with Bingham, Hendrie and Oates

Barnet have lost every away game so far, so that means...

I'm sure even if we do win won't deserve the points and will be warned that we somehow should be worried about accepting them.

Barnet used to have a class keeper but can't remember his name?

Lee Harrison sctatchinghead he seemed to be about for years.

Surprised Barnet have struggled so far this year. Dagenham hadn't won at home in the league when we played them Saturday and that would be the usual stat which would see us lose. If Barnet haven't won away, again usually a nailed on win for them but maybe, just maybe.....

Pools to win 2 nil, Magnus header and Paynter penalty

I reckon it will be a fortuitous 3-1. I'd say lucky but that word isn't allowed in relation to football anymore so we'll be fortuitous bastads instead.

Travelling south for work this afternoon - that's 3 consecutive home games missed for the same reason. Roll on the Crawley game!

Meantime a clean sheet from the new look defence would be appreciated - 2-0 Pools.

I can't go so it will be a goalfest of epic proportions.

7-4.

Or maybe 0-0.

Paying the price for not killing teams off. Can't go through the season scoring only one a game....

When you get 3 one on ones which all fall to your 3 most likely scorers and none can finish then you won't win many games.
