Just read that Derby have let us keep the £23,000 share of gate receipts they would have earned from Saturday's game. clappp

Very good of them! Last week they spent some £4 million on transfers so £23k is nothing to them but a lot to us; shame more clubs don't show the same gratitude.

There's some premier league players who earn as much in a month as some league 2 clubs turn over in a year and yet smaller clubs still end up in financial difficulty with none of these players forthcoming to help what is sometimes peanuts to them. At least Derby have know how to show respect unlike many others.

Is such a gesture allowed by the FA? Especially with them beating us.

Very small token gesture to them but will probably cover a weeks wage for the first team squad at Pools so I'm sure will be much appreciated.

Great stuff indeed, any loan players to go with them?

Hopefully the gesture was due to us putting up a good display etc

Derby county seem to relish the link between the clubs since they got our management duo of Brian Clough and peter Taylor also players such as tony parry , bill green , john McGovern fair play to them for cash return only strengthens links

Cracking move by Derby.

Good luck to them.

Great gesture from them, peanuts to them but could pay the wages of someone decent for the rest of the season.

Mining reference perhaps, did the Derbyshire miners cave in first

Fantastic gesture from Derby. They are now officially my second club. If there is such as thing.
It will be interesting to see if other even richer clubs will do the same when drawn away to a small club. Somehow I doubt it. Greed runs deep in the Premiership.
Hope Derby knock Manure out in the next round and go all the way.

Play a key role in ruining football and then throw a few coppers to the peasants to make up for it. Nice touch Roman.
