...that was, an extremely poor excuse for a game of football, littered with so many mistakes and below par powder-puff performances I wouldn't know where to start...

Compared to what we've seen the last few seasons I didn't think it was too bad a game, admittedly we are not great but Ive been to a lot of games were we don't look like scoring in 90 minutes.
Painter, Oates and Bingham all had great chances to score a second for us, which would prob have been enough to win the game.

Barnet missed some sitters too, and I thought they were by far the better team, no one tackled their No.9 all night.

I agree they did, But I think we were just the better of two average teams.
However some of the football was enjoyable tonight and over the last couple of seasons You couldn't always say that.
In the first 10 min I thought there number 9 was gonna be a big donkey bug he ended up having a good game, I think he was just too strong for our defence.

I've seen a lot worse this season at the vic, in fact that was one of our best performances so far. Thought we didn't do that badly at times but still lack some creativity from centre mid, it should've been about 5-1 to us if we could actually learn how to finish.

Carson - Commanding goalkeeper and great distribution for the goal
Hendrie - Didn't look too bad, looking forward to Ducky returning though
Magnus - Proper centre back who led the back 4 with ease and looked after Harrison
Harrison - A lot better with Magnus next to him, he needs an experienced partner
Jones - Bit shaky at times but games under his belt he will improve
Oates - Bags of energy and skinned them a few times, exciting player to watch
Featherstone - Didn't even realise he was playing, went missing
Walker - Mastered the art of getting rid of the ball as soon as it touches his feet to perfection
Carroll - Don't know what he offers, backs out of 50/50's, no pace, shite at set pieces and can't defend.
Bingham - Caused their defence a few problems with his pace but can't finish to save his life
Paynter - Put himself about but fairly quiet.
