Sounds like it should be 4 or 5 already. We have looked poor at the back all season and our cutting edge is lacking. It isn't hard to see us losing this and Saturday unfortunately :(

Pretty bad to fair but that is a sweeping heat of the moment text from the game statement if ever I've seen one

This is Pools we've all seen them this bad probably more times than we've them brilliant.

Overrun in midfield, need to sort that out.

Bristol are playing some unbelievable football and we looked very rushed and clumsy. Coxall stood in the town end for the first half as well, sporting some nice brown brogues.

Just had a text from my youngun:

"Unbelievably I dont think I have ever seen us this bad."

Seems to agree with Tree then.

They should all be fucking embarrassed in the changing room.

No doubt the fucker won't make any subs as usual.

And I don't understand why we are losing because according to the Facebook gurus Fenwick is the messiah and Bingham is shit so surely we should be winning?

come out earlier than ever before, must be an age thing. got a share in a season ticket for doing some work for a mate, but on that showing he can have the c**t back. spineless, clueless, disorganised. if boyce is a pro footballer, so am i. fenwick massively overrated, featherstone powder puff, bates smoking a cigar for most of the game.

utter utter shite.

We couldn't really have complained if we'd have lost 6-0.

But as bad as we are I thought they were everything we weren't, I'm just glad they weren't clinical.

I have always read your views of the matches like you are trying to be positive. Or to see the positives.

It wasnt a critisism

I don't believe Bristol were that good at all. The amount of space we have them was just criminal.

A total embarrassment of a performance. Not an ounce of aggression from a single one of them. Bunch of gutless fairies.

Oh come on, who on earth would think that a midfield 3 of Bates, fucking Walker and Featherstone would be totally over ran. Not a tackle between them and the combined pace of a turd.

Agree, didn't think they were brilliant or anything just us being bloody awful and we practically gave them the 3 goals with some abysmal defending

No pace, no energy, no thrust, no desire, bullied, pedestrian and sluggish

Only plus was Magnay coming on and adding a bit of steel and drive, Paynter's first half was decent, Halliday ok but the rest of them were dross and Kudos?????? sweet jesus

Bingham absence just underlines that without him we have zero pace

Halliday was very poor, especially first half. Mind, most of them were. Didn't mind Walker first half, thought he was the best of a bad bunch (not saying much like). But went missing second half.

Fenwick, as much as I like him, is vastly overrated. For a "natural goalscorer" he misses a lot of chances. That missed header at 1-0 right before they scored was a chance you can't pass up at this level.

Oates also offers very little out wide, why not give Connor Smith a run out? At least he is a winger who'd go at his man. Oates just looks like a square peg in a round hole.

My main complaint, aside from how shite we were, was Moore not making subs. I'd have honestly dragged Bates off after half an hour for Magnay, who incidentally should have started in the first place. Why do managers have to wait until the 60 minute mark to make a change? A blind man could have seen that team and formation wasn't going to work after the first ten minutes.

To be fair think thats been coming, we are second rate all over the pitch. we make teams look much faster and better than they are because we are slow and useless. only the keeper and one player can hold his head up tonight and that was Rhys Oates to be fair.
We have NO midfield whatsoever, upfront we are pretty clueless, billy painter is to slow, Fenwick is a major disapointment and Bingham (when he plays) lacks confidence in front of goal (oh thats not good for a striker)

The third goal tonight was unbelievable and so bad you have just got to watch it on the TV to believe a pro footballer could be so dim.

but the worst thing about tonight for me was walking out after the game and some bloke next to me saying: I thought Brad Walker did alright tonight... FFS mate what where you watching.

PS Think Ronnie Moore must take some blame for tonights result and performance I'm afraid.

Given a decent sewerage system , or a poor diet, turds are quite fast.

We really need to work on our analogies on here it's not just Pools who need to have a look at themselves.

What midfield are we picking then? I'm not sure we have the four to play 4-4-2, the system we played for a decent chunk of tonight's game.

Midfield is a problem but I don't think 4-4-2 is our solution. At least Woods is back Saturday and you'd expect Magnay to start.

Magnay should have started because he is the most committed player and best performer this season so far and I also would have put him on after 30 minutes even my 12 year old could see the obvious change needed after 20 odd minutes. Like you it frustrates me when managers refuse to upset players and take them off in the first half its totally stupid.

I would like to see the third goal again. It was a terrible decision to make the pass but I thought harrison was very very slow to react.

Moore needs to take a lot of the blame for tonight, he got it totally wrong. Played bates ahead of magnay sctatchinghead
Took walker off when needing a goal but leaves bates and featherstone on sctatchinghead
Took forever to make a change when we could all see we where struggling sctatchinghead

As onshore says this has been coming for some time now. RM has been content for his half-built side to pick up points by good fortune rather than earning results by good football or tenacious battling. Whether this seeming lazy management is due to a lack of hunger or the fact that he is still basking in his comfort zone wallowing on the 'success' of last season is open to conjecture. Either way this lame excuse for a L2 squad patently lacks quality, aggression, leadership, finishing power and in some instances basic skills and application required by professional footballers. Sorry but the honeymoon is well and truly over now Ron - this is YOUR team, YOUR formation, YOUR tactics and substitutions.

Defenders who mis time jumps and gift goals should be sent back to their clubs we don`t need more shite!

Fenwick is a liability who needs replacing, use him as a last 20 minute sub!

Featherstone tonight should have been pulled first half.

Paynter offers nowt!

Most teams we play have a midfielder that everything goes through, we just have a midfield that everyone goes through banghead

They played like they were mates, we played like we had never played together before!!!

No idea how Bartlett escapes criticism.

Made a few good saved but he's too small as a keeper. He could of done far better with a powder puff effort from Easter in build up to first goal and sure Easter gave him the best chance possible with 3rd by shooting straight at him yet still went in.

Exposed too much from crosses too with his lack of height

Probs not one or Bartletts better games but I'm not sure how you can point the finger at him rather than the 12 numpties in front of him plus the duo on the bench who appeared to be oblivious to the proceedings on the pitch and certainly unable to make a difference when their input was badly needed. If Molly Flinders had been in goal we would be looking at 5 or 6 tonight to be sure.

Bartlett does his best but he's a non league keeper, alright for a number two at this level.

He was fortunate to get away with an absolute howler first half.

He's being targeted at high balls, because he's not very good at them. Bristol rovers definitely seen this tonight.

He's a good keeper as number 2, but I'd expect Carson to get back in definitely

To needlessly reiterate what has already been said, it seems everyone has forgotten that we've been shite for every game this season and the only way we've managed to scramble a win through those games, is through Bartlett being outstanding when he's got an absolute shambles of a defence in front of him and managing to sneak a goal against the run of play. Harrison hasn't done it since he signed. Walker - Gash. Fenwick - right place right time once a match for the other 89 minutes he's treading water. Bates - no comment. I could go on but I can't be arsed.

Serious question though, What did anyone expect? A top three team? What when we retained Bates, in effect paranby and signed a load of players and threw them together like they're a bag of fucking haribo? I'll take mid table and I still think that's where we'll finish.

I'll grab your hands off for Mid-Table.

We have zero width, a centre midfield pairing of featherstone/bates is probably the slowest combo I've ever seen and our defenders live by the rule if in doubt get it out. Ronnie needs to stop fucking about with formations, the 4-3-3 does not work at all, every single person could see that last night. I cannot be arsed at all for another season of defeats and a relegation battle.

Bristol are playing some unbelievable football and we looked very rushed and clumsy. Coxall stood in the town end for the first half as well, sporting some nice brown brogues.

Got a photo? I have some lovely maroon ones

Afraid not, you can't beat a decent pair of brogues.
