I'm a big believer in ideally establishing yourself in a league before trying for promotion, a lot of teams now seem to rise through the divisions too quickly then find that they're out of their depth, Donny went from the Conference to Championship in 5 years, did well to stay up but finally succumbed a few years ago. There's a habit of teams then falling two leagues ie:- Scunthorpe, Yeovil, Portsmouth, can see Fleetwood possibly doing the same.

Boy would I have loved us to get up to the Championship in '04 but in hindsight without a massive injection of spending I think we would have struggled badly.
