Just found my account that I'd not looked at for over a year, started to follow a few prominent Poolies.
Have to say, the new chairman needs to stop posting on there to keep some credibility, he's verging on embarrassing.

He posts like one of the 12 year olds that pollute the HUFC supporters page on Facebook

I would dare to suggest he backs off and maintains a certain level of professionalism

Your suggestion to him. You may be better saying it to him than on here.

He's probably doing it because the previous regime got lots of stick about their abysmal communications with fans. Easy fix is to go on Twitter and be available all the time. Problem is you can't actually be fully open on there because that isn't how clubs work.

What if he Tweeted something along the lines of "Ronnie has told me that we need an experienced defensive midfielder and at least one winger or we could be in deep shit particularly if injuries go badly. I've told him the budget and he can't get them in for that so it's going to be loans or finger crossed on luck with injuries and some good management." Or what he thought of individual players who were struggling? Would be good to read but it would cause chaos so his Twitter stuff will remain as idiotic as most Twitter stuff that comes out of companies, football clubs, politicians etc.

I don't think he has said anything to out of order, obviously pissed off about so called Carlisle fans coming in and ripping seats out and has every right to speak out.

i also think it is cringeworthy, he comes across as the sort of person that follows the lad bible and not the sort of responsible business man you would like running your football club. He is retweeting that lass who got hoyed out at Preston for spewing up for god sake.

I also see he wasn't at the match yesterday, this isn't a problem but what else his he doing? JPNG can't have a business that turns over more than Pools and it's disappointing that he doesn't see fit to attend more games.

Any links with Seneca and Niramax should also be thought about long and hard. They are buying up credibility in Hartlepool in a similar way Russian oligarchs in London.

When he starts to tweet like the Peterborough chairman I'll worry. Not that I have twitter, but it often gets repeated on here anyway.
People whinged when hodcroft said nowt now the new one says too much! Football fans are a tough crowd. I even heard a City fan whinging about their new £60million signing, saying he'd upset the balance, send him on loan to us of you're that worried!

I'd more concerned about JNPG if he could actually attend every game. They offices in the South of England and overseas so I imagine from time to time the business means he can't attend matches.

As for Twitter I don't see the problem yet people have moaned for years about Hodcroft being distant and inaccessible. Now we have almost the opposite with this bloke. He's retweeted stuff that is supportive of the team and fans and came across as enthusiastic if that's cringeworthy in some people's eyes then so be it, you can't please all of the people all of the time. As has been said he's got a long way before he gets to the Peterbrough chairman's Twitter feed, which is at times staggering especially when he directly slags off players.
