I might know someone, maybe, who wants to access NBC sports live extra to watch a lot of footy. He's been told he needs a good VPN service...

...what is the best VPN that doesn't destroy internet speed and is superbly safe?

He's willing to to pay, but not much hopefully.

I use https://www.unblock-us.com/ to access british content while here in the states. It also allows you to watch netflix from any country they offer the service.
It should work either way around. They also have a free trial to try it out.

I watch NBC for the footy through my andriod box. Usually Lee Dixon and some yank commentating and Robbie Earle in the studio?

Do you always get loads of buffering?

Just bought TorGuard - cost £30 I think for a year, you can register 5 devices and they have a scatter of servers to choose from. Seems OK so far

Download the maintenance tool addon. Clear the cache using that and you'll be fine. The feeds on vdubt are spot on for me, never buffer.

done that already. its on my pc rather than a box but my pc is high spec. Am also using wired rather than wireless

Reckon it's probably Virgin and their stupid 'super' hub which is anything but super.

I'll recommend http://www.privateinternetaccess.com

Costs about £4.50 a month or £25 for a year.

Don't trust stuff like Hola and the other freebies - have a look at this: http://www.ghacks.net/2015/05/28/beware ... r-traffic/

Something like that is worth paying money for, if it's free (and not ad supported) you're usually the product.
