Quite a few of them on their message boards where deriding pools away support before last years match. Saying we only ever take 400 and how we never give them extra tickets, even though I think they have sold out about once in thirty years and that was when they topped the league, well just checked and thought they must of nearly sold out because of their massive support and found out they have sold a whopping 250 to season ticket holders.

I'm missing the game cause I'm away but hopefully Pools will give them a proper hammering in revenge for the same fixture last season.

We were so bad that day that Cooper saw the light and walked. The Rink End was pretty full to be fair - the feckers must have smelled blood.

Bet there's not so many that fancy the trip this time around!

I wasn't saying our support was better though. Carlisle fans last year were saying why should we give extra tickets when they never let us have extra, basically claiming they sell out all the time, hence why I said I expected them to of sold out already. We have also had several quite big followings at Carlisle including the day Carlisle were taken over.

You might to want to do some more checking then, because apart from last season, the last time we took more to their place in the seasons corresponding league fixture than they brought to ours was 2002-2003.

Take out last season and they beat us six seasons running, and some of our away attendances were pitiful

Them at Vic vs Us going to Brunton

569 447
934 736
869 222
354 228
585 545
924 701

If I am right some of them poorer attendances from us were Tuesday nights?

Both fixtures used to be tuesday.

I don't get this thread either. Carlilse have always brought a decent support to pools. Wether it was midweek or a weekend. Regardless of there league position. You could take that list back further.

To be fair though at least this thread is about pools, a 4 page politics thread seems top billing but a half page thread of what can only be described as banter about pools and darlo was locked. Can't get my head around that one. A pools message board not liking banter with the loids is like the fish shop not selling fish.

They don't usually get locked but that one was clearly degenerating.
Meanwhile the person most responsible for perpetuating political threads and totally ignoring Pools banter has been shown the door, so you ought to see fewer of those now.
Swings and roundabouts.

Either battered sausage or sage patty, especially from Fens Chippy. I never ever get fish from a fish shop.

Never mind the politics, there's more stuff on here about Hartlepool takeaways than there is about the football...

Any minute now Grabec will be on asking people what they're having for their teas!

The figures also show they haven't ever filled the Rink End which only holds 1,080 ish, we've taken a few bigger followings than that to Carlisle.

Thanks for asking; I'm out in the Toon so will be giving tea a miss but leaving room for a curry later on.

Last i heard Carlisle had sold 500 last week.
After there win at qpr this should rise to 800ish.
Last league home game for 3 weeks so hopefully we can pull in enough home fans to get 5000+.

Should be a cracking atmosphere and hopefully 3 points!

They tweeted yesterday that they had sold 750 tickets, 250 left.

It may also be worthwhile comparing ticket prices as well as the figures; with the cheap season tickets prices for away fans were expensive (as was debated to death on here).

I should be on Facebook; it would be a nice antidote to all the 'hey, isn't my life great' accounts. A bit of realism would make everyone else feel good about themselves.
