Couple of cracking goals in the Doncaster v Bury game

Terrible defending from Doncaster for the equaliser.

Anyone else think the programme was utter shite?

The commentary gives away the outcome of the moves before they happen. What's the point in that then?

Yeah it's utter shite.

Why is the studio audience there?

Adam Virgo is not a bloke who should be on screen throughout a one hour twenty minute show.

All they need to do is show the goals and highlights.

I just can't understand why they don't largely copy a format that's worked 50 years with MOTD.

Just proves that the people making the decisions don't actually follow the game which you'd have thought was a pretty important part of a programme about football.

They are going to do a documentary next week, footballs fattest fan.

The club who has the weightiest diehard will be expelled from the Football League.

Even when the BBC first got it for they tried to be different with that annoying Izzy lass reading texts out, Saturday night all you want to see is goals and highlights.

Thought it was pants, more time spent on gassing and adverts than the football, and how corny was it to have 5 blokes stood on a tiny platform with a lean on barrier. And no H.D ! get back the BBC show please. :angry-tappingfoot:

You think the live show was bad then try the computer On Demand version, its dreadful.
Every time you move the timer it makes you watch the same bloody advert for ages.

And as you can't guess where the 3 seconds of Pools coverage is its unwatchable.

I hope it improves.

Guess I will have to buy Poolsworld.

Channel 5 HD is now on 105 not 171, recorded it on 171 myself and realised it wasn't in HD while I was watching it.

Very poor opening show, hate the embarrassing audience in the shot type shows.

Cameras whizzing about does not make it trendy just makes me dizzy.

Why was Kelly Cates dressed for an appearance on Polldark? sctatchinghead

It showed all the goals and at a better time than the BBC did.

I don't see anything to moan about.

I agree with tree. I didn't mind it. Bit different to the bbc version, which was as serious as crime watch.

Wasn't as bad as it was made out in this thread but I'd prefer proper commentary to them chatting over every game.

To be fair, if you pitched that idea to a Channel 5 Commissioning Editor, they would probably run with it.

it will be doncaster then, three quarters of them are obese apparently

I guess its when we play in London.
They said that manager who was on it (can't remember his name, the one who swam across the Tees) rushed straight from the ground at Barnet to be there in time for the filming, so it must be someone who is near to Channel 5's studio.

She would have looked better in a basque and fishnet stockings. As for that wanker Virgo. How the hell did he get the gig. Neil Warnock and IanHolloway are both available and have forgotten more about football than Amateur Adam will ever know
