I heard great reports about this series so I just started watching the first episode but gave up after about 10 minutes as it just didn,t grip me and every other word was a needless fuck this, fuck that, fuck you, mother fucker this, mother fucker that. I watched the whole series of breaking bad and the walking dead and they are the two best t.v. series I have ever watched ....so... are there any other series anyone can recommend worth watching?

The wire was quality. I also recommend Dexter.

true detective is also worth a shout. the first season is quality. second season is on now not a good but still a good watch.

and i watched a documentary series called the jinx recently. unbeliviable true story, that should grip you

one of the best scenes in the wire is mcnulty and bunk investigating a murder scene using nothing but the word fuck,so if that offends you best stay clear.best tv series ever but it is a real slow burner, but well worth sticking with.
I've just finished the west wing, polar opposite to the wire and almost fuck free.very good though

Bresslaw would struggle with The Wire too.

He'd turn off after the opening credits.

Yep that's right. There was that scene I saw last night when I was being chased and whenever they caught up with me I found I could fly and my dear old dad was there and......hang on, no. That was a dream I had. Sorry got mixed up a bit there.

I really liked the shield, very raw and gritty, nothing flash, great policework.

Just watching the second series of Black Sails, History make some alright shows. If you like that try Vikings, which I preferred to Black Sails.

As for the Wire, can't see how you can give up on the first series. Second series can be a struggle and I know one person who stopped watching during that but if you stick with it you'll be richly rewarded.

Anyone seen Sense8?

I finished Sense8 last night.

Sometimes it's dead daft but sometimes it's really quite touching. I'd happily watch a second series.

I recommended it to my colleague, went home to watch an episode and all the main characters had that scene :uhoh: . I'm praying he's forgotten everything I said.

2) The Interceptor- Without a doubt the biggest pile of shite to have been broadcast on BBC in the last 12 months. Who commissioned this piece of utter fucking garbage ? It managed to be both high concept while at the same time incredibly fucking dull. I had to watch the second episode just to confirm the first episode had existed, and I hadnt just imagined it. By which point I just wanted everyone involved to die.

quote]

I liked the Interceptor. Or, hmmmm, maybe 'liked' is too strong a word.
I watched it anyway...mainly because I never quite got over the way Ash always looked as though he was going to murder somebody even when he was smiling. I like that in a man....

Anyway, I'd like to see him in a better part.

Oh, blimey, I have far more than token women to put up with when I watch telly programmes. It's nearly always a case of 'spot the first cliché/ plot anomaly, innit?
It's all part of the charm. Besides, I was deeply in love with Ash.

Oh well, I find it easy not to be offended. There's complex and there's light entertainment. Light entertainment had its own rules.

Besides, later on in the series, she tried it on with Ash and he didn't respond. That was quite multi-layered of him, I thought......;)

Who's Jason Statham? I don't think I could feel the same about Ash if he were called Jason.
