My lad has an Xbox 360 and wants Xbox Live.....what's the best way to get it? I've found 12mth subscriptions for about £25, is this decent/crap? I thought there was a monthly subscription available...is that right?

Also, I'd like to avoid him running up a several million pounds bill on Fifa, is it easy to block in-game purchases??

£25 for 12 months is about as good as it gets. Monthly tends to be around £5 a month. You can set up parental controls (can't remember if it's a password or pin) to prevent in-game purchases.
