Yeah he will tell you a car is right hand drive when really its left hand, buys a fair few cars without even test driving them and will tell you the hardest price to sell a car for is £100.

I bought a Fabia VRS from there, quite a few years ago now. Stonking car, was the managers wife's car, I didn't have any issues with them, the old guy I dealt with was very knowledgeable and dealt with a personal plate transfer as well. I used them a couple of times for servicing, then went independent, no issues. Should never have sold that car on.

Garages are odd things anyway, my friend has just bought a car from a 'sports car' garage, it was right at the cheapest end of what they stock. The garages reviews 'on line' are awful and I was cautious. Turns out they were a friendly bunch and the deal was straight forward and well handled. I think there are more and more dodgy reviews online these days, probably from rivals of the businesses.

Most things have bad reviews because people enjoy going online to complain about bad service in the hope of a freebie, however these people will never go online and leave a positive review.

Not as many as you, I suspect. He won't have assumed that nasty banging noise he heard on the test run would right itself on a real motorway.

Joking, joking.....honest

The banging in the boot will have been one of his 'hostages' who having gnawed through their restraining straps, was trying to attract passers-by.

I wish we'd thought of that earlier. All that time we spent grumbling about personnel we couldn't get rid of because of contracts or ownership rights, when we could just have popped them all in horden's boot
