"Harald Hardrada (Harald III Sigurdsson) is often known as "the last real Viking," and maybe he was what many understood by a real Viking king."

Defeated by Harold Godwinson about 2 weeks before the Norman Conquest. Question 9 duff or what?

So 18 but morally 19.

Not saying that test has any value whatsoever like.

I got 15 but got a couple of daft ones wrong like the Henry VIII one, famous obviously for his 8 wives

By the way of that is genuinely the UK citizen test what a complete like load of pointless, irrelevant horse shit. How the fuck does knowing how wide the UK is at its widest point prove you've got anything to add to our country. Complete bollocks.

18 but cheated out of 19 because someone says the Viking answer was factually incorrect which I *definitely* would have got.

Anyone who failed should be deported with immediate effect IMHO.

It looks like one of those made up things created by people who like to stir shit about immigration.

A proper citizen test should feature realistic and relevant subject matter such as the best ways of avoiding drunken twats at festivals/races/sporting events/the supermarket, how to get your kids into the best schools in your area, and social media argument etiquette.

I agree with poolieinnottingham it's about time we banned the teaching of history. Learning about when women were given the right to vote is a divide and conquer method used to corrupt and segregate us.

Ban it and hang those who study it.

Go on 'cuff me and put a bag over my head.

Spot on Mr Nottingham - the government created it.

Both the viking and Henry 8th questions are dodgy, their correct answers are the most populist answers not the actually most correct ones.

The Henry VIII one is sound. He married six times, went to war with France and Scotland multiple times and few people praise him on his artwork.

Odd wording though. 'Henry VIII was most famous for...'. I'd say he is now most famous for having six wives. I'd guess this has been the case for a long time now but during his reign and for a while after he was probably most famous for being the King and splitting the church

Not factually incorrect, just half arsed.
Alfie beat the Vikings too. The thing is he was about 850 years too early to be the king of the UK. At least Harold was king of England.
But the quiz is Welsh and none of that is part of their history, so they can be expected to screw it up.

18. Liked the Welsh jokes to, especially this one: I used to go out with a Welsh girl who had 36DDs. It was a ridiculously long name.

Yep, he didn't fancy her much but she was later given the title of 'The King's Beloved Sister.' Seemed they get on well, and she was given precedence over every woman in England bar his new queen and his daughters.
