Asked to attend to pick up some gear when at work on Friday morning. Removing the piece in question, this dog with mad eyes and bared teeth appears, in the ensuing negotiations I end up with a chewed knee, a knackered shoulder and covered in mud and wet grass... the dog legged it.
Return to base and female colleague enquires to my condition.

Her...Did you provoke it ...?
Me .....no.
Her.........Was it upset....?
Me ......why?
Her...... was it a dog or a bitch,?
Me .......Pass me the first aid box my knee is bleeding.
Her...........you're not taking this seriously.
Me........Your concern is heartwarming.

Ever had this conversation with people who sre just missing the point...?
