Why wasn't the announcement left till everything was signed and sealed?

After the last sham takeover you would of thought it would of been a wise move to leave any announcement until it was all finalised rather than announce that there will be an announcement.

Presumably the new owners want to handle their own announcements and how they're presented to the fans and local media - hard to blame IOR for that.

Maybe the new owners have withdrawn because IOR jumped the gun and made the announcement.

I can just imagine the alleged new owners gathered round their computer screen reading the Bunker and the Mail and such like, and going, "they peel them with their metal knives".
