All in a compact triangle right now. A pretty rare sight. You have about an hour to see them before they set.
In about a week's time the moon will have parted company, but Jupiter and Venus will be almost touching.

If not interested in astronomy please ignore.

Pretty awesome really. Man charted the universe thousands of years ago, but what do we really know about the moon, the stars, the planets, life in general and more importantly........Hartlepool bloody United !!!!!!!

Tonight and tomorow are the closest approach. Right now, from where I am, the two planets are visible one just above the other in the West, but they'll be setting soon. Probably a little later in H'pool.

PS naked eye job but with binoculars you can clearly see the discs, and prolly see the phases of Venus with a scope.

The Moon had Saturn very close on Sunday night, had the telescope out, could make out Saturn's rings, great stuff. No view of Jupiter or Venus tonight sadly, my western view is blocked by too many houses. Saturn is still fairly visible to the right of the moon though.

Well I think your talking out of Uranus!, was listening to that rotund gay horoscopy bloke with curly hair and lives in Wales, he pronounces it Eranus, is that because he takes it up his galactic star and tries to take attention away from the word I wonder sctatchinghead

Sir Patrick always pronounced it You-ran-uss. Which is a strange way to pronounce a two-letter word.
