If there were only 850 behind that goal on Saturday, I'll be absolutely gobsmacked.
We were talking to a steward (one of the reasonable ones, post to come on that), anyway he said they were expecting 1500.
That figure must have been based on ticket sales, one would think.
I reckon that there was in the region of 1000/1200, who made more noise than the whole of the Wycombe contingent put together.

Think of it this way.

Barnet and Wycombe are both of similar distance.

Barnet is just another match and Wycombe is a match that looks set to win us promotion. Surely that would attract more than half a dozen extra fans?

There was about 3/5ths yo 2/3rds of the stand full. My conservative estimate was 1.2k. Was shocked when they only said 850. Perhaps, that's the figure of those Pools fans who bought tickets in advance.

It's like at Accrington, they said we only brough 400.

I thought that ,when I heard how many were supposed to be there,in an end that supposingly holds 2k there wasn't that many empty seats, definitely not 1150 rage

A lot of people thought there more than 850 but it seemed quite accurate from where I was sitting

I thought there had to be over a 1,000 there at the very least, 1,200 was my guess too.

Mick Gannon seems to agree in the mail tonight.

“For some reason the Wycombe bean counters registered the travelling support at 850.
Quite how they arrived at that figure is anyone’s guess.
The away end at Adams Park holds 2000 fans and there was no chance it was less than half full.
It was jumping with at least 1,300 in there-making the noise of 5,000”

Nah it was less than half full for me, the middle sections were full which is why I think most people thought it was busier than it was but the ends were pretty sparce

On the Wycombe sit they strongly suggest there were more than 850 and that it's not the first time the away end looked fuller than the official figure so maybe you're right!

apparently we took 2,500 to Notts. Well away end holds 5,400 there is no way we could have got another 3,000 in there. me thinks some people are very good at cooking with books rage
