I know we've already had a taste of what Rakish Bingham can do, but I've been viewing the Youtube clips of him and his speed and movement is frightening (hopefully more so for opposition defences).

If he and Scott Fenwick plus the right wide man (or men) can be added there should be a massive improvement in attack this coming season.

Worth a look on YouTube.

I like the one were the Exeter fans applaud him of the pitch.

Reminds me of Luke James in the way that long balls etc bring out the best in him imo. So not quite sure why Mansfield kept playing him out wide etc.

Their loss and all that. Really excited to see him and Fenwick up top together. More so if Ronnie just thinks- "fuck it" and we go with a front 3 each game.

Ronnie might say fuck it and try and get Ched Evans in again.

Now that would be an awesome frontline almost guarantee promotion.

Agree

Can't understand why Mansfield freed him, at 21 year-old his hopefully going to develop (with Ronnie's coaching) into a top striker.

Il settle for Fenwick, Bingham and Williams as a front 3.

I'm not sure why Mansfield want rid but we have done the same thing in reverse with Jermaine Easter, who seems to be appreciated everysinglewhere he's been except Pools.
Let's hope he's an Easter in reverse. (I guess that would be a Christmas or a Hannukah or something.)

Sense of humour bypass?

He's a great signing, well done to Moore to moving swiftly to get him. Still would like to see Bird in too.

The only thing i noticed from that Exeter video is how immobile Matt Rhead is. Utter utter 'lovely lovely person' that man!!

To be fair that Exeter vs Mansfield vid shows Bingham getting around a lot, getting the ball a lot, getting into good positions, then fucking it up.
I hope it's not typical.

Shocking from a 20 year old on his debut, 'fucking it up', showing strength and pace, putting a couple of teasing crosses in, couple of decent passes and getting a goal.

Not good enough.

You just described David Istead. Except he was a bit younger.

Is that a hybrid of David Foley and Steven Istead?

David Istead is probably the archetypal home-grown Pools striker. Plenty of talent/skill/potential/promise etc, but feck all end product apart from a couple of memorable goals in a hundred-odd appearances.

Much more preferable to a Denis Bjornsson purchase though.

David Istead was all right but that Steven Foley was bobbins.
