This could scupper one of the reasons we don't sign any players. Cue the focus on the excuse "players don't want to come to the North East" which will mask the we pay bugger all

I think QPR's relegation will see another legal challenge to FFP, don't they have to pay about £50M for breaching them in the season they got promoted or face expulsion from the league.

We have forgotten about ffp rules now to be fair to ior. The new message being put out is the north south divide with sir Ronald having to tow the party line.

This is really good news for Ken Hodcroft. He's had his hands tied for a couple of years because of FPP. Now it's being relaxed he can up the investment. He must be over the moon.

Although he now has the government of his choice and Michel Platini has given him the go-ahead there are still massive obstacles for Ken to overcome.
