Probably clubs have no say on the matter. Why play these games at Wembley in the first place?

Anything other than the FA Cup final should be played in Cardiff. Much easier to get to, a nicer city, friendlier people, and they don't have your eyes out. But the people need to give their pound of flesh.

Even allowing for inflation, it just shows the way football is going. No wonder the Supporters Trusts in the Premier League are pushing for a big reduction in admission prices. The Liverpool mob were understandably hacked off at what Hull were charging the other night.

Hull supposedly charging away fans £64 a ticket for their game against Arsenal tonight.

I wouldn't say Cardiff was easier to get to than London for us still in Hartlepool.

Wembley area maybe a shit hole but the final should be played there.

The whole idea of the games at this level is surely to get as many people through the door to enjoy the occasion. Okay there may still be 50,000 on this occasion as Rovers will take a few but wouldn't it be great to have a full house for a conference play off final sctatchinghead

I can't really understand why Wembley cost so much to build in comparison to other stadiums?

Either way, at least there will be a 'proper' football club coming back into the league...been a while since we played Grimsby...I have a soft spot for Rovers though I think it's because they sing a great old blues song

A final in the new Wembley is the right venue. The adult prices would be justified if kids were a tenner.

Wembley is an expensive mistake it should never has cost as much as it did to build.

They even hold cup semi finals there now to justify the expense, sort of takes away the magic of the place as a venue for finals.
