has anyone else seen the tweet from Ronnie Moore earlier? I know he hasn't had Morgan in the squad but to tweet that?

Marvin could hardly argue.
Ronnie is surely allowed a bit of banter, same as anyone else. Quite different to the unprofessional tweets from Compton earlier in the season.

He's said in the past he saw him play a blinder after travelling all the way to Plymouth to watch a reserve game.
Desperation might have had a bearing mind.

Desperation, plain and simple, when rock bottom, you clutch at any available straw.

Heard allegedly he was a bit of a trouble maker. Always thought he was a bit of a strange signing.

I get 'desperation' but still think that RM would have enough contacts in the game to say that he wasn't what we needed sctatchinghead

Anyway, I assume he was only given a short term deal and will not be seen again in a pools shirt :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

He was only on loan so I doubt he'll be seen in a pools shirt any time soon.

He scored the goal against Northampton that won us the game so on the whole a waste of time but at least got us three points so not all bad.

I like Ronnie making such remarks; he has a laugh and I see no problem with that. Morgan can't complain, most people like his honesty and the press enjoy it as well.

Yeah. I'd love it if my boss publicly criticised me a few weeks after employing me!

I think it's pretty poor when he's made his thoughts on the player apparent by not including him in the match day squad. I don't know what's gone on behind the scenes and what Morgan has or hasn't done, but I'd expect banter like that to remain behind closed doors or at the very least on the training ground.

Ronnie has been very good at using the 0ress to motivate the team as a whole by rightly criticising the squad (on a no names basis), this is a step too far me though.

What's the harm? He's joking and if Marvin is upset by that tweet the banter at the training ground must be very tame. I'd prefer a gaffer who is relaxed enough to joke with his players, it's done him and Pools no harm this season.

Hero on Saturday and now the villain of the knitting circle. It 's football club, not a yoghurt knitters commune.

Morgan should stick to peddling his god awful t-shirts which look like they were designed for the Hunchback of Notre Damn.

I don't think he's criticising Morgan, I think he's making a joke over the Tranmere thing. I doubt that he'd go and do that on Twitter, especially when we've heard nothing in the press first to suggest he has any 'beef' with Morgan.

Morgan hardly broke sweat when here. When you see other loan players like Mirfin Tish Huggill Bird etc bleeding for the club I thought Morgan was a disgrace. He had an opportunity and couldn't be arsed to do some graft. Typical big shot player in his head. That's probably what Ronnie discovered. He doesn't like that type ask Compton.

Agreed. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Morgan's attitude in training absolutely stank.

I'm not hugely in favour of Ronnie slagging off individuals, but if [I'm assuming] it's about effort rather than performance, then I'm less inclined to give a shit.

I don't think Morgan will be too arsed, I seen him tweet a few weeks back that he earnt more last year from his clothing company than he did as a footballer.

This would only be an issue if he hadn't told Morgan to his face and I'm pretty sure Ronnie will have! He completely let him down, has no interest in helping pools and it's only a tweet...

I remember Morgan just after he'd came here talking to the mail about other clubs being interested and he was keeping his options open in regards to signing a permanant contract etc....definitely not the type of player/attitude I want at my club in a relegation fight. Give me an attitude like Harrison, tshibola, mirfin etc.. players like Morgan and Compton arnt needed.

What isnt funny is that that style of player was deemed useful. In the modern world.

Was told Morgan's attitude stinks and he is a bad influence on the other players so he is kept away from the first team. If I remember correctly the other week on Morgan's twitter he said he was in London when the rest where here training. Morgan got what he wanted out of this loan deal; allowed his missus to come home after just giving birth, he got to come with her and got paid in the process. He has other business ventures as well which he seems more interested in do I doubt he cares.
