Can anyone help, I'm trying to remember the name of that young lad that played for us a few years ago that Sunderland nicked off us when we didn't renew his contract in time or something like that.

Didn't Sunderland bid peanuts for him, went to tribunal, tribunal ordered them to pay more, so they cancelled the deal - his head went so he fucked off?

Yes for £50,000. He made 9 appearances and no goals. Only found out when I was trying to trace Paul Conlon.

I think it was Halliday who nearly got twatted off Stevie Howard (first pools stint) when he (Howard) was unmarked on a hat trick, in front of an open goal facing the town end, when Halliday chose to shoot rather than play him in - He missed - Howard went ballistic
