Looking at the possibilities that Pools will be safe come 5pm today:

Pools must win which would put them on 44 points.
Cheltenham must lose which would keep them on 40 points.
Tranmere must draw or lose which would put them on either 40 or 39 points.

Looking at the odds from the bookies, prices are around the following:

Pools 6/5, Exeter 9/4, Draw 23/10
Cheltenham 21/5, Shrewsbury 8/11, Draw 12/5
Plymouth 8/11, Tranmere 7/2, Draw 11/4

Taking the overrounds into consideration:

Pools have a 42.67% of winning the game.
Cheltenham have a 54.34% of losing the game.
Tranmere have a 79.19% of drawing or losing the game.

The chances of those possibilities is that Pools have a 18.36% of being safe come 5pm today, or just under 9/2.

So there is more chance of Pool's fate going down to the last game of the season but there is some hope that it might not!

Yep, massive match today and I'm suffering a disturbing mixture of excitement and nerves. I'm thinking a few pre-match pints will calm the nerves but I reckon I'm going to be in a bit of a frenzy by kick off.

This is going to be one of those games where an hour and a half footy feels like a week and a half!
