What's that about? And being sensible hasn't ever been a bunker regulars strong point.

ok, replace sensible with not being stupid, threatening, aggressive, etc. Either way, the old board will be archived in due course.

Incidentally, we're getting into the area of legal responsibility for moderators. ITB has had to be shut down, and the bunker has come close. I'm bored with people who say they hate it spending more time on here than anywhere else. "I hate the bunker" but then quote chapter and verse on any given thread.

We've gone back to non members viewing and the new forum will be locked down completely.

Well now, where do I stand? I've supported Pools since the days of Norman Oakley in goal but living in Australia I can't be on the terraces. Since discovering the Bunker a few years ago I have tuned in every Sunday morning and many other days besides to get the latest news, views and opinions. When there was a restriction earlier this season I joined officially but, not being there, I feel there's not much I can contribute - but that doesn't make me any less interested in the fate of my team. If the new Board is just to be for those who attend matches and who regularly post, clearly I don't fit. But if it is for those who have the blue and white running through the veins, wherever they live, then I would like to continue to be part of it please.

So lets get this right, certain people want us all to pull together for the good of HUFC, get involved in the Trust etc, but then those who do are to be told they will not be allowed/invited to air/share their views with fellow HUFC supporters on this new exclusive V.I.P HUFC supporters forum?. If this is the idea of some of our so called more intelligent supporters then we really don't stand a chance do we. But then again I probably said that many years ago.

Great post, hopefully Mr I will take on board when the invites go out as I'm sure there will be many more like you. Unfortunately, there are always clowns wanting to ruining it but surely that's what you have moderators for. Any how, where's my invite :angry-tappingfoot:

Horden does have a point, we always accuse IOR of only surrounding themselves by yes men and an unwillingness to listen to anyone with an alternative viewpoint.

While I understand some of the views expressed on the whole fancy dress idea could have seen the board shutdown, this will pass over soon enough and banning or removing posts is less draconian than an invite only site (whilst I do appreciate this is more effort for the moderators).

I don't post very often and would probs take several years to reach 100 posts, but I read with great interest all comments whether I agree or not. Would like to continue to be allowed that access as I am a Poolie till I die. Made sure my wedding didn't clash with a Pools fixture and climbing over the wall as a six year old ( 50+years ago) made me want to be a Poolie. Cried a few quiet tears yesterday after seeing my team survive. I'm not one to condemn others opinions without thought so can I come on board please. If not I would like to thank you all for the laughs and opinions you've given me . NSD .

i only discovered this site a few months ago when my son in law told me about it and i have enjoyed most of it ever since i know you have to accept other peoples views and sometimes its been difficult but overall i enjoy viewing its only recently i have posted a couple of times, i am also a lifelong poolie first game 1961 i may be getting on a bit but as passionate as anyone the whole family are season ticket holders but if it is deemed i am not to be allowed on here then so be it, i will miss it but hey ho life goes on

Why the need for a new board, just ban people when they deserve it, as the guy who has only ever posted twice but reads it all the time stated, he would miss what has become part of his daily ritual, because certain thicketts want to hijack threads and get them shut.
