JH was a thoroughly genuine and decent guy, spoke to him at one of the reserve games and was a nice bloke.

Hung out to dry here but glad he is doing a good job in the SPL- had he had the resources and given the full control of his backroom etc I always felt Hughes would have took us forward- I could see him replacing Gordon Strachan as Scotland Manager in the next few years?

It,s probably just a matter of time before an English club goes and gets him and hopefully treast him with a bit more respect, good luck to him.

Utterly bizarre by pools to recruit him from another club only to sack him after 6 month without doing a thing wrong. Good on him for proving he's no flop albeit in Scotland. I'm sure he'll get another chance in England one day.
