This is exactly the time we need Marlon's experience. Don't know why he was not brought on at York instead of Jones. I wouldn't have him on from the start but, if things ain't working by half time , we need him.

Fenwick before Marlon every time but he scored. It was a fabulous cross from Jones though.

Nice to see him score, shame he doesn't show that composure more often. Shame Fenwick couldn't get that in at the end, I wouldn't of prepared anyone else in that situation. Id prefer Fenwick any day but I still don't think he is in a position to start a game yet.

We got to start with harewood n fenwick at luton.
No point in waiting till we go behind as the last two games have proved franks n hugill will never work.
I dont normally question ronnies starting eleven but he has to get it spot on at luton.

7 points required for me like

Hugill and franks doesn't work? Not quite sure how that can be stated when the they have had probably as many poor games together as good.

Honestly it's a huge huge opportunity missed but the over reaction is ridiculous. Looking this weekends fixtures, we look to have the hardest game but Cheltenham can lose just as easily and then tranmere could pick up a point and we still be put bottom 2.

Before we played morecambe, everyone thought the worst and this position would of been unthinkable. End of the day, all 3 are shit, as our season long form suggests. Because Cheltenham have won 1 game, people think their season has turned. Nothing to suggest that either way, and certainly not that they will start winning all of a sudden on regular basis.

I wouldn't play franks again. The lad has no spine, no bottle and heart that is shadowed by a garden pea.

My top two would be Hugill and Fenwick with the option of Marlon from the bench.

Agree with the above, Franks again poor, like you say no fight in him, hopefully get rid of him at the end of the season.

Frank's has been very poor last 4 games. I am baffled that Nelson Addy has had no pitch time.

4 games is generous. I'd say at least two years

can only presume these people saying franks has been poor last 4 or so games either are a) blind or b) didn't go to york.

He was the one player who was willing to run at people and also have an attempt, drawing an actual save out of the york keeper.

End of the day, fenwick isn't fit to start games (or certainly not to play 90 minutes etc). The formation has been figured out and it highlights our severe lack of width which is where we are exposed. You get people at the games saying why is no-one closing their full back down when they overlap the winger and it's because they have 2 vs 1 all the time. It's all very crowded in the middle of the field and why we looked much better with 2 people hugging the touchline in 2nd half.

If we out the bottom 2 after saturday (regardless of win/draw/loss etc) I'd say our odds will shrink as we certainly have the better 2 games to end the season.

He might of been the only player running "AT" people, but how many did a) he get past, b) cross a ball past the first man?

Franks needs to remain in the team the only one with some pace and movement and he will try !

Well considering he was playing up front he's unlikely to be the one putting a cross in. Plus he got past people on edge of box to put our very little shots at goal in. Also as said great at Newport and his deliveries set up both goals against Cambridge.

Not Saying he's brilliant, far from it but to talk absolute drivel and single him out is ridiculous.

Forwards need to defend from the front, franksie never. When he played on the wing he could never beat a man or put a cross in.

Granted he has had the odd good game (could probably count on one hand) in 3or 4 years. So yeah his critisicm is deserved.

I could go through the team and pick faults with most but when franksie is a seasoned pro, from one of the best acadamies in the country he should have more heart and desire to be a pro. I'd much prefer an inexperienced hugill and Fenwick (who was a civil engineer this time last year) ahead of him.

I was surprised Harewood never played at York given he did okay last 15 v Southend. Would of thought last night was ideal game for him to start. Think it is shit or bust now and Marlon should lead the line last 3 games. Its not about who is best team, all the bottom 3 are shit, thats why they are where they are, its about spirit and which club has the most men on board.
Thats what worries me, have we the men? no Mcnultys, MCombes,Barratts in our side, and that is what you need at this stage of the season in our predicament.

He came onto the pitch after 30 seconds against Southend.

We do have two of those two types of centre back in Harrison and Mirfin, Austin is also playing well.

Our problems are all from midfield onwards since Moore got the job our defensive record stands up very well.

We were lucky to only concede one last night to be fair though.

Mirfin and Tish look they are struggling for fitness to me.
