We're no worse off that we were yesterday morning. It'll still come down to the Carlisle game.

I think it's more out of concern that we will fluff our lines again at the key moment. We had great backing yesterday, and we did nothing against ten men and a library home crowd... rakxe

Reminded me of the crowd at Rushden, the three times we went....a sort of girly squeal of delight when they scored followed by respectful silence........ the York crowd were like the stockroom at a waxworks, they weren't just subdued they were inert. They came to life fleetingly as their deflection went in ...... they sounded like a weary communal ejaculation at an eighties only orgy... then put their teeth back in and fell asleep en masse.

A bloke behind me spent all game moaning about our support and how poor it was!!! I couldn't believe it! I turned round and asked how he could knock our 2000 travelling support with his negative comments. To which he mumbled something and I never heard anything from him after that. Absolute tosser.

I wonder if that was the same bloke near us - continually stating that the stand should be bouncing and that we'd all come for a nice day out.

I thought my mate was going to crack him at one point.

To the right of the goal at the back?

Pissed as a far on bottles of vodka and snorting coke off his hand.

Classy.

I think everyone is aware of that its just so, so frustrating that we lost that game yesterday. It should have been a comfortable win and we should have had the prospect of a game on Tuesday night that winning would mean we virtually secure our survival. It's a huge opportunity missed. We won't play another team as bad as York.

Any ground we made up has now been lost. I reckon it will go down to last game, but we may have to win it 10-0

Failure to win on Tuesday and the game is up. You can forget the 'win at Carlisle' scenario.
Check the bookies odds to know what the chance of league football is next season.
Does a team ('fighting' to survive) that cannot even draw against a poor ten men really deserve a football league place?

PS What costume has been chosen for the traditional end of season game?

That is arguably one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read, the first bit anyway.

From the negative tone from some on this message board I think The Grim Reaper costumes seem highly appropriate.

We've lost or gained no ground in the bottom two since we got out of it.

What we've done is arguably in all three games since is miss a massive opportunity to put some daylight between them. We've certainly lost momentum but not ground.

What's done is done, a post mortem will change nothing, roll on Tuesday.
